About us
Vision
LUNE is a non-profit association based in Basel-Stadt. It is committed to promoting transcultural meeting places and artistic participatory projects. Its focus is on enabling active coexistence and a shared future for all people living in Switzerland. The association was founded in May 2025. Its current project, LINES, builds on the experiences gained from the on connection project, which was carried out in 2024 with two classes from the Center for Bridge Programs in Basel.
Mission
The focus of our work is to facilitate low-threshold meeting places between people with and without migration experience and to promote the development of friendships and the dismantling of prejudices. The centerpiece of our activities is the annual dance production in cooperation with the Center for Bridge Programs Basel. In addition, we organize dance events, workshops, and other formats that aim to promote cross-cultural encounters, raise awareness of non-discrimination, and build a strong and diverse community.
