About us

Vision

LUNE is a non-profit association based in Basel-Stadt. It is committed to promoting transcultural community spaces and artistic participatory projects. Its goal is to strengthen active coexistence and a shared future for all people living in Switzerland.

Mission

The focus of our work is on creating accessible community spaces for people with and without migration experience. LUNE organizes dance projects and events, workshops, and other formats that enable transcultural exchange, raise awareness of mechanisms of discrimination, and promote the development of a diverse, supportive community. The focus is on breaking down prejudices and creating sustainable social relationships.
